ReDefined is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in West Monroe, Louisiana, in March 2025 by sisters Mindy Lancaster and Jerri Blankenship. For more than 34 years, they have served behind prison walls, and for the past 8 years have traveled throughout Louisiana sharing their personal testimony and the hope found in Jesus Christ.
As teenagers, Mindy and Jerri experienced deep tragedy after losing their mother to murder and watching their father receive a life sentence for that crime. What could have become a story marked by destruction and hopelessness became a testimony of redemption through the love of Christ and the influence of faithful believers who stepped into their lives and pointed them to Jesus.
Through their journey of forgiveness, healing, and restoration—and through maintaining a loving relationship with their earthly father—they have witnessed firsthand the depth of grace and mercy that Jesus extends to every person.
Today, ReDefined exists to bring that same hope to those who are incarcerated.
To change lives and change legacies through the hope, healing, and salvation found only in Jesus Christ.
At ReDefined, we believe no life is beyond the reach of God’s grace. Our desire is to see individuals, families, and future generations transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.

Jerri Blankenship is not only the co-founder of ReDefined, she is also a wife, mom, Jamma, ministry leader, and servant of Jesus who has dedicated her life to going behind the prison walls for “the one.” Through prison ministry, discipleship, prayer, and family restoration, she is passionate about seeing women and men encounter the transforming power of Jesus Christ, break generational cycles, and build new legacies rooted in faith.
Jerri believes ministry starts at home with her family and flows into every place God sends her. Her heart burns for incarcerated mothers, fathers, and families, reminding them that shame does not get the final word and that restoration is always possible through Christ.
What began as obedience to simply love people behind the walls has grown into a ministry centered on prayer, discipleship, healing, and helping people discover their God-given identity. Whether leading Bible studies, organizing prison events, mentoring women, leading retreats or creating spaces for fathers and children to reconnect, her mission remains the same: to point people to Jesus and help them walk in freedom.
Even her dental career has become part of God’s greater story. Through His goodness and divine orchestration, women transitioning through prison work release programs often cross paths with her inside the dental office-creating another opportunity for encouragement, accountability, discipleship, and reminding them they are seen, valued, and capable of a new beginning.
Jerri carries a passion to make anything and everything she does become all about Jesus. Her life reflects Isaiah 61 - beauty for ashes, freedom for captives, and hope for the brokenhearted -trusting that God still restores families, rewrites stories, and leaves the ninety-nine for the one.

Mindy Lancaster is God made, Jesus saved, and Louisiana raised. With a heart for sharing the hope and redemption found in Christ, Mindy has been featured on several podcasts, served as a guest blogger, and spoken at conferences and retreats, encouraging others through her testimony and faith journey.
For the past 27 years, Mindy has worked in the dental field, where she intentionally builds meaningful relationships with her patients and looks for opportunities to share the love of Jesus in everyday moments. Her passion for people and ministry is woven into every area of her life.
Mindy and her husband, Michael, have been married for more than 20 years and are blessed with three children and four grandsons. Together, they are active members of White Ferry Road Church, where Mindy faithfully serves as a women’s ministry leader and continues to encourage others to walk closely with Christ.
